Let’s just ask the Iraqi people

Despite what many naysayers are — you guessed it — naysaying about the war in Iraq, it seems the Iraqi people don't share the same doom-and-gloom vision.  A survey of the Iraqi people clearly indicates that they do not view their lives as being worse than they were before the war.  A recent poll carried out for the BBC and other broadcasters shows that the majority if Iraqis believe they are better off now than they were before the war and that their lives have improved since the invasion began more than a year ago.  For all of you who have been sitting back on your couch-potato asses bitching and moaning about what a terrible life they must be suffering through over there and what a terrible thing America did to them, I'd strongly suggest you take a look at what the Iraqi people have to say instead of just assuming that you know more than they do.  You can see the results of the poll in this BBC article.
