A straight person’s guide to gay etiquette

What Emily Post never taught you could fill a dedicated volume of the Encyclopedia Britannica.  Who's Emily Post?  Wow, you have a lot to learn…

I don't even remember what I was looking for when I stumbled across this little gem on the web.  I was undoubtedly not looking for guidance on coming out or what my straight friends needed to know when I did (especially considering I came out many years ago).

I found myself quickly entrenched in the apparent expertise of The Plaid Adder, the author of what I am sharing with you here.

Having apparently had some experience with and exposure to the whole "coming out" thing, The Plaid Adder took on the responsibility of putting together a guide to help straight people better understand and interact with gay people.

Of course this is a hysterical read.  I assure you, straight or gay, you will be amused and entertained, just as I was, and you will find yourself laughing out loud many times as you read through the material.

By successfully integrating linguistic expertise, social commentary, biting wit and sarcasm, and a large amount of personal experience (no one could write this without it), The Plaid Adder has ingeniously created a purely enjoyable guide which should bring riotous laughter to all but the conservatives among us.

But even more important than the humor is the truth that is found throughout the guide.  The humor obviously helps make it more palatable for the intolerant among us, but the truth that is allowed to soak into each reader's mind as they laugh is ultimately the point of the exercise.

So, without further ado, I direct you to The Plaid Adder's The Fine Art Of Being Come Out To: A Straight Person's Guide To Gay Etiquette.
