For Mom

As I said, “There is the loss of another pet at the family farm: one of Mom’s cats.”

I’m referring to Smartie.  There are no updates on his status.  He appears to have gone missing.  He seemed quite ill the last time he made an appearance, but he disappeared before anyone could scoop him up and get him to the vet.  Yet his story is not unique because of the wilds in which the family farm exists (literally the middle of BFT).  There are other such stories.  “A dog was lost there not to long ago, and a cat shortly before that and another cat shortly before that and another cat shortly before that.  The list goes on…”

Again, for Mom.  This is Smartie.
