There are reports that a general aviation aircraft (small plane) hit an apartment building in New York City (somewhere on East 72nd Street if reports are correct).  I just want to say that watching the video, hearing the reports, and even seeing the headlines on the web caused me a bit of mental and emotional discomfort.  I suddenly had all sorts of bad memories rushing around in my head.

It doesn’t appear to be anything more than a very unfortunate accident.  Nevertheless…
