I had never heard of such a thing until I saw this word in a recent news article.  My swan!  We’ll give a name to just about anything, won’t we?

cybrarian (cy·brar·i·an): / sahy BRAIR ee uhn /

(1) data surfer; super searcher; one who uses computers and the internet to guide others to information online
(2) one who works doing online research and data retrieval

Usage: The common professional title for a cybrarian is ‘internet information specialist.’
