i was thinking of the human kind of kid but, that would be an interesting read to see what a cat's universe consists of. what they see, what "stars" they gaze at. hmmm, that would be a good children's book

I've thought about doing some kind of photo books. Most likely, I'd go that route if/when I write one about the cats. But I could dabble in other areas if so inclined and able. We'll see how it all works out.

Oh, I didn't take it as an insult or anything. But they could be better. I'll admit that. You'd be amazed at the vast quantity of no-posted photos I take. There are literally thousands.

Once I figured out most of the major functions, however, I got much better at taking shots. Or at least utilizing its capabilities.

And yes, once I get one compatible with the telescope, I'll know I've hit the big time. That takes 35mm compatibility. That's a significant step above what I have now, and it'll offer all sorts of opportunities for good—dare I say great?—photography in the future, and not just when hooked up to the telescope.

All in due time . . .

wasn't knocking it at all. it does take some great shots for what capabilities that camera has. great purchase, to bad it isn't made for your 'scope, that would be cool to see. Jason's version of "Cosmos"

Well, I have this thing for nature and do my best to capture some of it for my own enjoyment. Maybe I have been inside too long . . .

Amazingly, I'm just always surprised by the quality of some of what I shoot considering I don't have a high-dollar, high-quality, professional camera. It's a rinky-dink Canon that doesn't have powerful lens capabilities, true macro zoom, or even the bestest doodads or gadgets or gizmos that can be found on SLR/dSLR cameras. Still, it constantly amazes me with what it can capture when used correctly (something I've only recently begun doing after reading TFM!).

All that said, it still won't hook up to my telescope or capture really good photos from a distance, so ultimately I'll need to replace it sooner rather than later if I want to enjoy the kinds of photographs I'm interested in taking.

you've been inside entirely to long. Just kidding. I can do that with my mom's camera but i then have to wait for the film to develop. i'm apparently digital camera challenged.
