al-Zill looking out the living room doors as a mockingbird scolds him from the patio fence.  He had just been watching a male cardinal partake of the sunflower seeds I had put out earlier that day, but soon the mockingbird came and chased the cardinal away, then it turned its attention toward al-Zill.

I don’t think the cat was too worried about all the fuss, although he certainly felt he and the mockingbird should get together in person to discuss their disagreement.
