    1. I love these birds, too, Mary. They’re quite raucous, plus they’re skilled mimics–so they have marvelous vocabularies. Great fun to watch them. And thank you! I’m glad you like the photo.

    1. Thank you, Amber! It’s definitely a good time to see them. With northern populations moving south for winter and vegetation becoming bare, these birds are suddenly quite visible.
