You can thank Mom for these. I don’t remember specifically who sent them to her, but she was gracious enough to share them with me — probably knowing I would post them on the site. It’s a wee bit of geriatric humor.
The perks of being over 50
This is the first in a four-part series of humorous posts for my older visitors (and those younger visitors who wish to laugh with them [we never laugh at people, right?]).
Games for when you are older
Continuing the "Being Older" series, here is Chapter 2 — Games For When You Are Older.
And remember that my dear mother is the one who gave these to me, so don’t come down on me for poking fun at my geriatric visitors!
Signs of menopause
I cogitated whether I should post this portion of the "Being Older" series. I wondered if, in a world so blinded by political correctness, would it be appropriate for me to post a joke about menopause?
Then I promptly laughed out loud and shouted, "Hell yeah!"
Once again I thank my Mother for giving me this fodder for mirth.
Signs of wear
Completing the aged humor my Mother so kindly shared with me, this is Chapter 4 of the "Being Older" series.
This installment completes our little spree through the world of geriatric humor (for now, at least).
Again I’d like to mention that you have my Mother to thank for the "Being Older" series. So blame her!
And remember…
If you’re under 50, this may be amusing.
If you’re over 50, this is probably reality.
