A different view of intelligent design

I'm already working on a post about intelligent design in response to a blog entry on another site that I ran across recently.  No, it's not a blog I will frequent, but I do want to respond to the entry I read because it's so full of holes yet is being sold as a scientific analysis by a religious zealot.  But that's another story (or post, actually).

While the concept of intelligent design is a serious matter in that it's religious dogma being poorly disguised as science, there is no fun in life if even the most serious of offenses can't be touched upon with a sense of humor.

It's therefore with great joy that I would like to draw your attention to this fun little item over at The New Yorker.  Religious or not, believer in intelligent design or not, you simply must read it.  It's hysterical.
