A new study indicates that it takes the human mind only 50 milliseconds — the length of a single frame of television footage — to judge a web site.  Statistically, the judgment of those viewing them so quickly is the same as those given more time to evaluate the page.  I’ve always said the five steps to success in all matters are (1) appearance, (2) appearance, (3) appearance, (4) who you know, and (5) what you know.  I’ve yet to be proven wrong.

Stardust has landed, and now NASA is scrambling to unlock the secrets of the formation of our own solar system — hopefully.

Al Gore’s speech today makes some very good points about the constitutional crisis we face with Dubya at the helm (torture, secret prisons, domestic spying, etc.).

Does anyone else notice that in general the red states are less charitable than the blue states?
