All the Democrats have had to say about the Abramoff scandal is that they are clean of any possible related contamination. I’ve believed from the beginning that they were only fooling themselves and any idiot stupid enough not to have better sense. I was right.
Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid is heavily linked to Abramoff and appears to be equally yoked to the corrupt lobbyist as any Republican identified to date, and this given the same level of evidence he’s used to bash Republicans for apparent corruption. And you wonder why I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican… It’s because neither can be trusted (and, I must admit, both bring good ideas and beliefs to the table).
