Stories like this about animal adoptions that go well always bring a tear to my eye, and this one did just that.  As Mary said in the comments, it’s always hopeful and fulfilling to see adopters who are grateful to have saved an animal.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t point out the amazing likeness between Sandy and Kazon.  Were it not for that clipped ear, she’d look just like him.  That is, of course, from a single photo of her.
