I’m going to reorganize the site a bit.  This will only impact the categories.  The more I look at them, the more I think there are improvements to be made — not to mention some corrections.

For instance, why are weather photos listed separately from nature photos?  Is the weather not part of nature?  In that particular case, weather should be listed as a subset of nature.  And to expand a bit on the nature idea, I also want to add a new category for wildlife to differentiate those from other nature photos.  And there may be more in that regard…

Likewise, the miscellany category, used to isolate my pre-blog writing, now seems a bit silly.  Expect that one to be removed (the posts will stay in place; they’ll just become part of the normal blog chronology instead of being separated).

What I want to do is extend and modify the categories to better identify and/or isolate certain kinds of posts.

Yes, I’ve been down this path before, and you may even remember when I wiped out the categories many months ago after migrating to new blog software.  I suppose you can call me wishy-washy in this regard.  I’ve simply concluded in the last five months or so that even I find the current structure somewhat tedious.  Oh, and some portions of it also reek of mental retardation on my part.  Either that or too many drugs.
