LONDON’S most influential former police chief has rounded on Britain’s Muslims, blaming them for the terrorist networks in the country.

“When will the Muslim community in this country accept an absolute, undeniable, total truth: that Islamic terrorism is their problem?” wrote John Stevens, former commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, in a Sunday newspaper.

In an inflammatory opinion column, he called on Muslims to “stop the denial, endless fudging and constant wailing that somehow it is everyone else’s problem and, if Islamic terrorism exists at all, they are somehow the main victims”.

That is precisely what I have said time and again regarding Islamic terrorism, Christian intolerance and bigotry, Catholic pedophilia, and a great many other religious crimes taking place throughout the world today.  Stop blaming it on the victims.  Stop trying to be the victims.  Take back your religion from the whackos hijacking it for their own political and personal gain.  There is no one responsible for these horrors except the religions themselves.  If they don’t get off their asses and move against the radical elements in their midst, they are solely responsible for the outcome.

Again, let me quote John Tunis: “He who witnesses a crime and does not protest, commits it himself.”  That is especially true of religions whose fringe elements use the cover of faith for nefarious purposes and whose majority followers sit back wringing their hands and wondering how anyone could violate the tenets of their beliefs in such horrendous ways.  They’re your faiths, you idiots, so get off your fat duffs and take them back before they’re forever tainted as refuges of hate, intolerance, violence, bigotry, hypocrisy, and death.
