Happy Labor Day!

If you’re not working, your employer gets the point of a national holiday in honor of working people.

If you are working, your employer sucks.  I don’t care what business you’re in; it’s a holiday honoring the working class who keep these two nations going and prosperous.  To make you work on such a day seems both a tragedy and an affront.

Still, holiday pay, if it’s double time, can’t hurt, eh?  I suppose that makes it all better if you have to work — but only if you get paid twice your normal rate to do it (people who are salaried should just avoid work altogether since you’re screwed no matter what).
