Belated though it may be, Friday, September 8, marked a phenomenal event.

Happy Birthday, Star Trek!

Last Friday was the 40th anniversary since the pilot episode of the original series aired way back in 1966.  The most long-lived franchise on the planet with more movies, television series, books, and related merchandise, Star Trek’s still kickin’ butt and takin’ names.  The eleventh movie is now in the works.

To be successful, be like Gene Roddenberry.  I wish he were still alive to have celebrated such a wondrous event based on his creation and vision.
