Whether you’re celebrating Muslim, Christian, Jewish, pagan, or any of an infinite number of celebrations this time of year, and even if you’re not celebrating at all, I wish you a wonderful winter season, happy holidays, and a safe and prosperous new year.  Enjoy time with loved ones whether near or far (for, if they are truly loved, they are never far at all regardless of the physical distance that separates you).  Bask in the joys of winter (even if climate change is making it a bit warm this time ’round) and all that the changing seasons have to offer.  Touch gently the life of at least one fellow traveler on this troubling ride that is humanity.  Find within yourself the true spirit of giving by offering aid to one or more non-human sufferers.
