Vocabularium

Yep, that’s me.

sardonic (sar·don·ic): / sahr DON ik /
adjective

(1) disdainfully mocking; characterized by scornful or bitter derision; sneering; cynical

[Via French sardonique from Greek sardonios meaning “scornful.”  The original meaning of sardonios was “of or from Sardinia,” but the present meaning stemmed from a Sardinian plant which, when consumed, was supposed to cause convulsive laughter, facial distortions resembling a contemptuous grin, and then death.]

Usage: Having a wee bit of experience in the area, I intend for Dreamdarkers to carry an aura partly defined by Dave Lloyd’s sardonic wit and cynicism.
