LOL! mArniAc forwarded this article to me: ‘Berserk’ house cat sends owner to hospital. With it she said: “When I saw the headline, I was concerned for your safety, thinking perhaps you had stepped on Kako’s tail or offended Loki in some way.” Again: LOL! Yes, either one of them would readily do me bodily harm were I to look at them cross. But, alas, this isn’t about me. It does make me wonder about the cat, the older woman, and the environment. To have been attacked before and to be so violently attacked simply because someone comes to the door with another cat begs all sorts of questions. I can’t help but think it’s not so much a problem with the cat as perhaps it is a problem with the cat’s background, upbringing, home, self-proclaimed “owner” (I absolutely HATE that term when used in reference to animals), or other non-clarified smidgen of information. Still: LOL!
Nosy neighbors: It’s a single photo that’s too cute not to share. I mean, there I was on my balcony trying to get an all-over tan—if you know what I mean—and these two folks just start staring at me with wide eyes and the “I gotta see this” look on their faces. How rude!
Looks like I won’t be voting for Obama. He’s suing a pedophile for displaying public photos of and saying something about the presidential hopeful’s kids. That’s right: The self-proclaimed pedophile didn’t commit a crime, didn’t touch Obama’s kids, and didn’t even threaten to do so, yet the candidate has filed a lawsuit against him. That tells me all I need to know about what he thinks of our rights—most specifically, the right of free speech. The money quote: “For better or worse, pedophiles retain their free speech rights.”
