Vocabularium

Sounds like preaching and most religious discussions to me.

vociferous (vo·cif·er·ous): / voh SIF er uhs /
adjective

(1) crying out or shouting in a noisy manner; clamorous; loud; boisterous
(2) characterized by or uttered with noisy and determined shouting

[Coined from Latin vociferari meaning “to shout, yell.”]

Usage: Vociferous debates seldom result in convincing anyone of anything unless those involved in the discussions have true respect for the passions and convictions of one another, and are willing to listen through the shouts to hear the deeper meanings.
