As of today, the xenogere household is powered by 100% renewable, environmentally friendly electricity.

That’s right, poppets.  There will be no more burning of coal to run the air conditioner, no more fossil fuels involved in keeping food cold, and no more noxious pollution or adding to climate change in order to heat the water.

This change doesn’t come free, however.  I should see a slight increase in my electric bill, but that’s an increase over my recently lowered costs.  In truth, I come out even in the deal.  I’ll pay about as much as I’ve been paying prior to the recent TXU change of heart regarding destruction of the environment.  For me, that’s a big savings.  I’m more than willing to pay a little more to know all of my electricity needs are 100% environmentally sound, renewable, and non-polluting.

And from this point forward, I will do all I can to ensure my future electricity needs are met entirely by renewable energy sources that are environmentally sound.  I don’t think there’s a cost too high…
