When I first stepped outside this morning, I could hardly breathe. The air itself seemed to stick to me like wet cotton gauze, and whatever clothing I wore instantly became damp and uncomfortable.
The temperature: 75°F (24°C)
The dewpoint: 72°F (22°C)
That means the relative humidity was 90%.
And that was at 5:00 am.
Now it’s 77°F (25°C) with a dewpoint of 71°F (22°C).
That puts the relative humidity at 82%.
