There was no rain yesterday. None whatsoever. That was the first such day in more than two months.
Today? We aren’t so lucky.
Thunderstorms are developing around the area. At present, an ominous shadow drifts slowly overhead bellowing forth thunderous cries. The power was knocked out a bit earlier; it’s now back on.
A brief yet heavy rain fell just a few moments ago.
It appears the larger storms have passed to our northeast, yet more storms have formed southwest of us and are moving in this direction. None of them are large, mind you, and the activity is rather scattered.
Still, it couldn’t even wait two days. . .
At least I was able to take a walk this morning before this popped up.
