I’ve made a dramatic change to how Apache handles access to resources on both this site and xenogere unseen.
This change is rather significant.
What does that mean?
It’s possible I’ve thrown the baby out with the bathwater. If so, oops.
Let me know if you run into problems. If you can’t access the contact page, send an e-mail to webmaster <at> xenogere.com instead.
And by the way, this should stop a great many scrapers, scammers, and spammers while allowing news readers to view images. All you have to do is ensure you’re sending referrer and user-agent data to the xenogere.com domain. Since I’ve always required that, I don’t see this as problematic for most.
