Is it when Bush and his régime violate our constitutional freedoms by invading our privacy via warrantless eavesdropping (domestic spying) by tapping in to our domestic telecommunications systems on a wholesale basis?  What if they also tapped into all of our internet search activities?

Is it when he declares himself above the law?

Is it when the SOTU address is full of lies, more lies, and even more lies?

Perhaps it’s when they lie and deceive to cover their incompetence that cost the lives of thousands and destroyed the property of millions in a natural disaster, even after they were warned ahead of time of the pending catastrophe and said they couldn’t have known about the levee breaches despite being told days before that such a thing would probably happen?

Maybe you’re waiting for him to violate the law by procuring propaganda targeted at Americans?

Or is it when his entire party is found to be corrupt?

Could you be waiting for them to censor their own scientists for political gain using inept and uneducated puppets?  What if they lied about our sun dying far in the future despite it being a known fact, an action that has no intrinsic or inherent value whatsoever?  Are you waiting for them to ignore and cover up polution and global warming information that is critical to the survival of our species?

What if they leak CIA operative information despite such action being considered treason?  What if he demanded accountability from and charges against the person who leaked the information, then rescinded that directive when it was announced he was the one who authorized the leak?

Should you wait for them to use illegal tracking mechanisms on government web sites?

Are you waiting for them to take us to war under false pretenses, including faking evidence to justify an invasion?  Better yet, is it the use of already discredited information to demonstrate a bio-weapons program that didn’t exist, information sold to the American public to get them to support war even when the sellers knew they were peddling false information?

Is it when government agents sneak radioactive bomb materials into the country via two different borders almost five years after the September 11 attacks?  Shouldn’t we be safer by now?

Are you waiting until free speech is only legal in “free speech zones” and dissenting views are called unpatriotic, traitorous and treasonous, and even considered a terrorist act?

What about support for torture, the suspension of rights for the accused, the blatant desire to use our beloved constitution to limit the rights of minorities, federally supported intolerance and bigotry, or a plethora of other horrific violations of our nation’s integrity?  How many liberties and rights are you willing to give up in the name of security in order to allow a president to continually violate all that our country once stood for and cherished?  And what of declaring the executive branch independent of constitutional oversight and checks and balances from the legislative and judicial branches?

What will it take to make you demand accountability from an administration so far out of control that our own president now fits the strictest definition of a dictator?  Since when is the president of the U.S. autonomous and free to act at will in clear violation of domestic and international laws?

I could go on, but isn’t that enough?  Again I ask: when will you get mad?  When is enough enough?
