(1) to throw out of or through a window
(2) to abruptly expel or dismiss (uncommon)

[Coined from the prefix ‘de-‘ + Latin fenestra meaning “window.”]

Usage: Yes, Mr. Principal, I did in fact defenestrate the teacher after she hit me with a wooden spoon.
