Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I am leaving town to celebrate.  Perhaps that did not come out quite right.  I am going out of town to celebrate with family, not necessarily leaving Dallas in order to be thankful.  Then again…

Anyway, I will be back online Friday and not a minute before then.  Okay, perhaps a minute before then if I return to town early enough Thursday evening to be online, but that really is not my point.

Ugh, stop confusing me already.

I will post some items today and schedule some items for tomorrow in case you happen to waste the holiday by going online.  It is acceptable to step away from the digital world and return to the meat world once in a while, you know.  Just sayin’.

My schedule this afternoon is quite full with all manner of busy work in preparation for tomorrow.  No, I have no plans to slave over a hot stove all day and night to cook up scrumptious goodies, but I am taking a few goodies with me and need to get those items in order, plus I have to prepare the house and cats for a day without Daddy (vacuum up the catnip, clean the cat boxes, empty the dishwasher, finish the laundry, and similar activities best left to the hired help—if I had any hired help).  Lunch today is at La Madeleine (or at least from there) as that happens to be one of the places from which I am retrieving some of the aforementioned goodies.

After all the running to and fro, after all the scurrying about the homestead, and after all the time spent with The Kids so they might enjoy as much time with me today in light of spending all day tomorrow alone, I will be climbing into bed earlier than normal so I can rise and shine and get on the road before the sun first peeks over the horizon.
