After flooding rains last week gave way to sunny and not-so-hot days, I spent hours walking at the lake beginning early this morning.  Sunlight was still a distant promise when first I stepped out the door, and morning’s heavy dew and the leftover floodwaters provided for a rather wet walk, yet nothing could deter me from enjoying the cool morning.  A productive walk it was, for time lost all meaning and I found myself wandering until noon.
