I must upgrade the security software on my laptop.  Well, my server will also need the same upgrades much sooner than I care to admit.

Oh, and the server’s video card appears on the brink of death.  It’s rendered direct use of that computer near impossible.  Still, it’s survived many years without a hiccup, so who am I to complain!

What this means is this: I’m knocking both computers off-line while I do some maintenance.  I’m also ordering a new video card for the server before it’s completely unusable.

Unless something terrible happens, I should be back on-line in a few hours.  Or is that a few days?
