Grendel received nothing but good news during his annual exam this morning.  X-rays indicate the stones (one in his bladder and one in his kidney) have not grown.  The doctor indicated the prescription diet they are on will help minimize additional growth by reducing the possibility of calcification.  Now I have two reasons to keep them on that specific food, aside from its general health benefits.

He received his vaccinations and general checkup.  His weight has increased a tad since his fiasco earlier in the year.  This was expected given he’s no longer throwing up all the time and is back on prednisolone, which generally increases food and water consumption.

Overall, it was a good visit with good news all around.  He was such a good boy, even during the various violations and discomfort of x-rays, and the staff had nothing but good things to say about him.  That’s my boy!
