I got home from the grocery store and noticed a squirrel outside grabbing a bite to eat.  He was focusing on sunflower seeds, so I assumed there were no more pecans or almonds available.  I grabbed a handful of pecans and walnuts and stepped outside carefully and quietly so that I didn’t scare him off.  Due to not wanting to approach the fence as that would probably send him fleeing, I stood back and tried gently to toss some of the nuts over in his general direction.

The first one pegged him in the head and sent him scampering around the corner.
