Functional yet wanting

The site redecoration is complete.  If you’re not looking at a sunset photo at the top of the page, click here to switch to the new theme.

I’ve spent a great deal of time coding so that the most important functionality and aesthetics from the old site presented well in the new site.

Now I must tinker, you know, to change things up a bit.  Oh, don’t worry too much.  I mean I need to adapt things for this look and feel, update this and that so it doesn’t appear like an old glove with a new coat of paint.

Please let me know if you chance upon any problems.  While validation and functionality have been tested in Firefox, Opera, Netscape & Mozilla, Safari, and even Internet Exploder—er, I meant Internet Explorer, I can’t guarantee that I didn’t miss something.

As for the view, I highly recommend using any browser other than IE.  It still incorrectly renders the page.  Every browser comes with its own idiosyncrasies; IE just comes with a lot more, like having no clue what to do with standards-compliant code.

Otherwise, feel free to let me know what you think, what you recommend, what doesn’t work right or as you prefer, or whatever else comes to mind.

As for access to the old themes, I’ve disabled that functionality once you switch to the new one.  If enough people complain about it, I might add it back in.  Still, it’s important to remember the old themes become progressively less stable and functional because I don’t continue maintaining them once I upgrade.

Well, I hope you like the new outfit.  It’s already growing on me.
